The academic schedule at Jain Vidyaniketan is tailor made for its students. All the subjects are put across in easily understandable terms so that assimilation is very high. More complicated topics are gradually introduced with effective and attractive presentations. The standard state syllabus is enhanced with projects, work sheets and other creative activities that make learning a wholesome experience.

Within each grade, sections have been formed based on entry level training and assessment. The varied backgrounds and educational exposures of the children are parameters by which they are tutored to reach acceptable standards. Instructions in most classes is in the local language, Kannada, with special coaching in spoken and written English. Exclusive English medium sections have also been created for students with similar backgrounds. Students who are weak in studies are given special attention, while bright students are encouraged to enhance their knowledge and skills.
