MOTIVATIONAL TALK BY DR. A P J ABDUL KALAM Bharat Ratna Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam delivered a motivational talk to the students of Jain Vidyaniketan and Jain International Residential School at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College campus on Sunday, 14th July 2002 at 11:30 am. He interacted with the students and fielded questions from the students for over 60 minutes.
Annual Day Celebrations Jain Vidyaniketan celebrated its second annual day on January 25th, at its campus. Mr.Ashok Dalwai, IAS, Commissioner, Bangalore Mahanagar Palike was the chief guest.
Annual Sports Meet The second annual sports meet of Jain Vidyaniketan was held on Monday, 24th December. G K Vishwanath, former international Table Tennis player was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Mini Tennis Jain Vidyaniketan has tied up with the Bhupathi Tennis Village to introduce mini tennis in the school, situated in a rural environment; the school intends to provide good sports facilities to the students.
Free Eye Checkup Programme Project Drishti organized a free eye check up programme for the benefit of the students of Jain Vidyaniketan in Jakkasandra, Kanakapura Taluk, Karnataka on December 2001.
Scince Exhibition A science exhibition was organized by the students of classes 7 and 8 on the occasion of the second annual day celebrations at Jain Vidyaniketan.
